TREASURE releases new album ‘LOVE PULSE’ on the 1st… Pre-orders surpass 1 million copies
[이데일리 스타in=김현식 기자] Boy group TREASURE makes their comeback on the 1st with their new album ‘LOVE PULSE’.
‘LOVE PULSE’ is a mini album consisting of four tracks that explore the diverse emotions of love. Their agency YG Entertainment stated, “TREASURE sings of the various colors of love, from excitement and heart-pounding moments to happiness, joy, and the pain of parting.”
The title track is ‘PARADISE’, a disco-funk genre song with a retro vibe. The agency described it as “a song that blends the members’ refreshing vocals with stylish rap.” Regarding the music video, they highlighted, “It portrays TREASURE’s own paradise through scenes crafted with a surreal touch.”
The album includes additional tracks such as ‘EVERYTHING’, which features bright and refreshing synth sounds; ‘NOW FOREVER’, with a dreamy atmosphere; and ‘BETTER THAN ME’, which emphasizes the members’ warm and delicate vocals. Pre-orders for the album, which began on August 4th, have already surpassed 1 million copies.
All tracks from the album will be released on various online music platforms at 6 PM today. To celebrate their comeback, TREASURE will hold a pop-up store at Star Square in Mapo-gu, Seoul from September 2 to 7. On the 3rd, they will release a performance video for ‘PARADISE’. From October 10 to 12, they will kick off their Asia tour ‘PULSE ON’ at KSPO DOME in Seoul.
The agency stated, “TREASURE plans to engage closely with global fans through diverse promotions both online and offline.”
