[일간스포츠=김지혜 기자] YG Entertainment’s new girl group BABYMONSTER is set to fully launch their activities for their first full album this week. According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER will be appearing on the SBS variety show ‘Running Man’ scheduled to air on November 10th. Members RORA and RAMI plan to capture the audience’s hearts with their delightful charm.

The announcement of their weekend prime-time variety show appearance marks an exciting unveiling of BABYMONSTER’s active promotions. Previously, YG promised to fill the second half of 2024 with appearances across various platforms including other variety shows, radio, and YouTube.

The most anticipated part of their promotions is their music broadcasts, where they are expected to showcase their diverse charms with double title tracks, ‘DRIP’ and ‘CLICK CLACK’. During their official debut album promotions, BABYMONSTER demonstrated their capabilities with perfect live performances on various stages, which led to a reverse charting phenomenon across various charts.

YG stated, “In accordance with the members’ wishes to repay fans’ love, we have prepared their activities on a grand scale. We will soon share more details about their music broadcasts and other activities, so please show a lot of interest in their moves.”

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER made a comeback on November 1st with their first full album ‘DRIP’. This album quickly climbed to second place on the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart and secured the number one spot in twelve regions on iTunes, as well as the number one spot on Japan’s largest streaming site Line Music’s Top 100 Real-Time Album Chart, showing signs of an extraordinary popularity surge.

The music videos have also garnered exceptional popularity. ‘DRIP’ rocketed to first place on YouTube’s ‘Most Viewed Videos Within 24 Hours’ upon its release, and the pre-released ‘CLICK CLACK’ stayed in the top ten of the Global YouTube Daily Popular Charts for three consecutive days. The views for each have reached 34.81 million and 35.71 million views, respectively, continuing a dual rise in popularity.
