[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] As the comeback of YG Entertainment’s group BABYMONSTER is just a day away, the pre-released music video for “CLIK CLAK” has sparked an impressive popularity storm. According to YG Entertainment on October 31, the music video for “CLIK CLAK”, a double title track from BABYMONSTER’s first full album, surpassed 10 million views on YouTube around 10:40 AM today, approximately 21 hours after its release yesterday at 1 PM.
Despite being released before the official launch of their first full album “DRIP”, the steep upward trend demonstrates BABYMONSTER’s formidable presence. This achievement has propelled them into the top ranks of trending video charts across various countries including the USA, UK, Canada, and Japan, solidifying their strong global stance.
The “CLIK CLAK” music video, with its artistic use of monochrome visuals and the signature YG hip-hop mood, has quickly become the talk among music fans. With all members taking on rap for the first time, the track is praised for its unconstrained swag and boundless musical capabilities, delivering a thrilling sensation.
The interest is now also turning towards another title track, “DRIP”, from the album. While no specific details about the song have been disclosed yet, following the warm-up by “CLIK CLAK”, there is heightened anticipation about what contrasting charms BABYMONSTER will reveal to distinctly define their unique style.
BABYMONSTER’s first full album “DRIP” will be available with all tracks on November 1 at 1 PM KST. The album features a total of nine tracks including the double title tracks “DRIP” and “CLIK CLAK”.
BABYMONSTER plans to expand their activities through a series of music video productions, a world tour, and other major projects.
