BABYMONSTER Set to Release Debut Full Album in Fall, Previews New Song in Early July
[연합뉴스=이태수 기자] YG Entertainment’s newest girl group, BABYMONSTER, is set to release their debut full album this coming September or October. Ahead of this, the group will preview a new song in early July.
In a video interview posted on the official YG’s official social media today, YG executive producer YANG HYUN SUK unveiled plans for upcoming releases by the label’s artists. “We plan to release the full album around September or October,” Yang stated.
Alongside the album news, BABYMONSTER will also release a performance video for “LIKE THAT,” a track from their upcoming official debut album later this month.
Meanwhile, fellow YG group TREASURE will release a new digital single titled “KING KONG” on the 28th of this month. “Despite TREASURE’s busy schedule with their Asia tour, fortunately, there is a 2-3 week break allowing us to introduce this new track,” Yang explained. He added, “I believe the keyword ‘KING KONG’ suggests a strong performance, and it’s going to be packed with energy.”
Yang also promised that TREASURE’s album, set to be released this fall, is being crafted with the utmost effort. TREASURE is currently in the middle of their second Asia tour, spanning five cities across nine shows.
