BABYMONSTER’s First Steps into Variety Shows After Debut! A March of the ‘Monster Rookies’
[OSEN=지민경 기자] YG Entertainment’s new girl group, BABYMONSTER, is set to make their first variety show appearance on “Knowing Bros,” marking their debut in the entertainment program scene.
According to OSEN’s findings on April 2, BABYMONSTER will participate as guests in this week’s filming of JTBC’s “Knowing Bros.” Their episode is scheduled to air later this month, launching BABYMONSTER into their first foray into TV variety programs. With their official debut as the starting point, BABYMONSTER had promised active engagements, and appearing on “Knowing Bros” will be their first entertainment debut stage, showcasing their hidden variety skills.
Previously, through their own content, BABYMONSTER has already displayed a fun sense of humor, raising expectations about the kind of charm and chemistry they will bring among seasoned entertainers.
With the release of their first mini album ‘BABYMONS7ER’ at midnight on April 1 and their official debut, BABYMONSTER plans to meet fans both domestically and internationally with a variety of content, starting with their appearance on “Knowing Bros.” On April 7, they are scheduled to perform ‘SHEESH’ live on SBS’s “Inkigayo,” and their plans also include fan signing events, a fan meeting tour across five Asian locations, and an appearance at Japan’s largest music festival, “Summer Sonic 2024,” marking the start of their global activities.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER’s mini 1st album ‘BABYMONS7ER’ has topped the iTunes charts in six regions, reaching the top ranks of the worldwide album charts, and the music video for their title song ‘SHEESH’ has hit the number one spot on YouTube’s ‘Most Viewed Videos in 24 Hours,’ surpassing 30 million views and demonstrating the power of these ‘monster rookies.’
