[2023 MAMA] TREASURE “We love YG, we love our fans”… TREASURE Wins Favorite Dance Performance Male Group
[마이데일리=이승록 기자] Boy group TREASURE (CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, JUNKYU, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, DOYOUNG, HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, SO JUNG HWAN) has been honored with the Favorite Dance Performance Male Group award.
The 2023 MAMA AWARDS were held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on Nov. 29th, hosted by actor PARK BO GUM and singer JEON SOMI.
TREASURE, who received the Favorite Dance Performance Male Group trophy, said, “First of all, it’s an honor to receive such a meaningful award today,” and expressed their gratitude: “We really love everyone who always creates cool performances. We love our YGX. We love everyone. And we also love YG. And we really love our fans (Treasure Makers).” They added a request, saying, “Thank you always, everyone. We will work hard in the future, so please support us.”
Meanwhile, TREASURE is enjoying global popularity, achieving one billion streams on the world’s largest music platform Spotify. Their agency YG Entertainment announced today that since their debut in 2020, the total cumulative streaming count of TREASURE’s music on Spotify has surpassed one billion. Furthermore, TREASURE recently completed a large-scale fan meeting tour in five cities across Japan, selling out all seats, and decorated the finale of the fan meeting tour at the Tokyo Dome.
