YG: “TREASURE’s ‘BONA BONA’, a never-seen-before performance”
[스타뉴스=이승훈 기자] Boy group TREASURE hinted at their musical evolution with their new song, ‘BONA BONA’.
On the 18th, their agency, YG Entertainment (hereafter referred to as ‘YG’), posted the ‘TREASURE – ‘BONA BONA’ TITLE POSTER’ on their official blog. The poster beautifully harmonizes the charismatic gaze of TREASURE with a gray mood.
TREASURE’s daring transformation, quite different from their previous teen-crush appeal, overwhelmed the viewers. Dressed in white uniforms amid metallic concrete structures, they radiated an intensified aura, arousing more curiosity about the new song ‘BONA BONA’.
The title track ‘BONA BONA’ of TREASURE’s 2nd full album was perfected with the help of a formidable group of YG producers and talented foreign writers. Members CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, JUNKYU, HARUTO were credited for lyrics, and with LEE CHANHYUK also contributing, another musical synergy is expected.
YG said, “‘BONA BONA’ is a powerful and scaled-up dance song,” hinting that “it is okay to look forward to TREASURE’s new music and performance that have not been seen before.”
TREASURE will be making a comeback with their 2nd full album ‘REBOOT’ at 6 pm on the 28th. The album will include a total of 10 tracks of various genres, including the title track ‘BONA BONA’, rap and vocal unit songs. As it is the album with the highest participation from members so far, it is expected that we will be able to experience TREASURE’s unique musical color.
