iKON To Hold Japanese Tour in 2 years 6 months…6 Concerts In 2 Cities
[스포티비뉴스=김원겸 기자] Group iKON is to hold 6 concerts in two cities in Japan.
According to YG Entertainment, iKON will be kicking off their ‘iKON Japan TOUR 2022’ at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe, Japan on the 2nd and 3rd of July. They will then meet with local fans at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan on July 9th and 10th.
Explosive reactions are expected as their Japan tour comes in about 2 years and 6 months. Starting with their ‘iKON Japan TOUR 2019’, they surpassed 1 million accumulated audiences so far with all tickets being sold out, and their digital single which was released in March 2021 ‘Why Why Why’ took over all major Japanese music sites, showing their ever-lasting presence.
In particular, iKON is set to make a comeback on the 3rd of May. Since they’ll be facing fans in a while, expectations are running high for their performance. Domestic fans will be able to meet iKON at their concert on the 25th and 26th of June, set to be held at Seoul Olympic Hall in Olympic Park.
Meanwhile, iKON produced many hit songs since their debut in 2015 including ‘KILLING ME’, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, ‘My Type’, ‘Apology’, and ‘RHYTHM TA’, and has been leading the K-POP scene ever since then. They are also communicating with fans with their self-entertainment show ‘iKON ON AIR’.
