YG TREASURE Sheds Tears of Happiness at First Concert
[OSEN=연휘선 기자] Boy group TREASURE took over the hearts of global fans by going all out on stage for 140 minutes.
TREASURE successfully conducted their first concert ‘TRACE’ on the 9th and 10th of April at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park located in Seoul, Bangidong. The offline tickets for the concert were sold out for both days, and fans from 102 countries watched the concert online, coloring their own spaces in blue through their ‘TEULIGHT’, which is their light stick.
TREASURE went full out from the very start of the concert. They signaled energetic performances starting with ‘JIKJIN’, and then performed their debut song ‘BOY’, along with ‘GOING CRAZY’, which is a meaningful song for both members and fans, heating up the atmosphere of the concert venue.
Including songs that were rearranged through remix versions, TREASURE pulled off a set list of a total of 22 songs. The concert atmosphere exploded when they sang ‘I LOVE YOU’ and ‘mmm’. Their synchronized dance moves along with intense sounds created perfect harmony with extravagant stage equipment and laser lighting, leaving everyone at awe.
The performance for ‘DARARI’, which was unveiled at the concert for the first time, really won over the hearts of TREASURE MAKERs. The choreography utilized the moves which was used as a dance challenge among global MZ generation, and JUNKYU’s cute dance moves which seemed as if he was conducting the members stole the attention of fans. This performance was what made fans look forward to their ‘DARARI’ follow-up activities.
Their special performances were also under spotlight. TREASURE showed a variety of unit stages with iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, WINNER’s ‘REALLY REALLY’, BIGBANG’s ‘GOOD BOY’, and ‘BANG BANG BANG’. Their cover of YG FAMILY’s songs was re-interpreted in their own style, which gave off a positive vibe to fans. It made them sing along to their songs internally.
The concert did not allow any screaming due to COVID-19 prevention measures, but TREASURE communicated with fans more than ever through this concert. TREASURE’s heart was always where fans were at. The stage was made in a treasure shape to meet fans more up-close, and they eventually shed tears of happiness towards the end of the performance, overwhelmed by their interaction with fans.
TREASURE members said “This is a moment I’ll never forget. Thank you so much TREASURE MAKERs for being with us in this moment. I want to thank you guys for letting us know we can be loved, and that we can love. We’ll make sure to work even harder.”
Meanwhile TREASURE’s concert ‘TRACE’ will also meet fans once again through delayed streaming on the 16th at 7PM, and on the 17th at 3PM.
