TREASURE’s ‘The Mysterious Class’ Almost Reaches 1 million Views on YouTube in Half a Day Since Release
[OSEN=연휘선 기자] YG’s mega group TREASURE’s new web-drama ‘The Mysterious Class’ is garnering attention amid enthusiastic responses from fans all around the world.
According to YG Entertainment on the 13th, TREASURE’s web-drama ‘The Mysterious Class’ has almost reached 1 million views on YouTube, in about half a day since it was released at 10 p..m. the previous day.
Just by looking at the number of views, this record can be compared to one of the best web-dramas that first facilitated the massive popularity of the domestic web-drama market. This comes to show how much potential TREASURE has as a group, after sweeping all Rookie of the Year awards last year.
Reviews are saying it is a well-made web-drama with better-than-expected acting skills by TREASURE members, tight composition, and solid directing.
In fact, the first episode of ‘The Mysterious Class’ gave off a spooky vibe from the very beginning, living up to its genre of a mystery high-teen thriller. Not only did a mysterious being answer to the ‘Bunshinsaba’ spell, but their class teacher was found unconscious in the corridor, spooking out the viewers.
The spooky storyline of ‘The Mysterious Class’ continued on throughout the first episode. When DOYOUNG found out there are officially 20 students in the class, not 21, he said “A mysterious someone is here among us”, making everyone nervous about the possible ghost
When everyone was in confusion, a mysterious voice came out from BANG YE DAM’s tablet PC spooking everyone out. ‘I’m all here alone’ part from the song kept playing on repeat. This drew curiosity from viewers, making them wonder how the story will unfold.
