LISA “First Solo Album in 5 Years Since Debut, Wanted To Portray The Best Of Me”.
[스타투데이=박세연 기자] LISA spoke up about how she feels on debuting as a solo artist, 5 years after debuting as BLACKPINK.
On the morning of the 10th, an online conference commemorating LISA’s first solo single album ‘LALISA’ was held.
LISA’s solo album release comes after 5 years since debuting as BLACKPINK in 2016. LISA said “I’m still nervous and it doesn’t feel real. It didn’t hit me even when practicing the choreography, but it hit me when I filmed the M/V”. She also added “I’m so happy to show my solo stage, and I hope BLINKs enjoy watching it”.
Then what significance does this album hold to LISA? She said “This is my first solo album, and I got to put my name ‘LALISA’ as the title so it meals a lot to me. I’m so thankful to BLINKs who waited for me, and I’ve really worked hard on this”. ‘
What would be the reason she decided to name her album and title song ‘LALISA’? LISA said “I wanted to portray the best side of me in the album. I just wanted to show who I am as a person, so I decided on this name”.
LISA’s solo album contains 4 tracks including title ‘LALISA’ and ‘MONEY’. Along with TEDDY, a representative producer of YG THE BLACK LABEL, 24, Bekuh, BOOM, R Tee, and Vince each listed their names in the album’s Lyrics·Composer·Arrangement section.
Strong brass leaf and dynamic rhythm shows perfect harmony in her hip-hop genre title song. ‘MONEY’ is also garnering great attention where LISA’s explosive swag and energy explodes.
LISA’s solo album reached an all-time record as a K-POP female solo artist, with pre-orders exceeding 800,000 as of today.
LISA’s solo album will be released at 1pm (12am EDT). LISA will be performing her fist solo stage at U.S. NBC’s representative talk show ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.
