TREASURE Reveals Fan Song ‘EVERYDAY’ Celebrating Their 1-Year Debut Anniversary
[스포티비뉴스=김원겸 기자] YG Entertainment’s rookie group TREASURE revealed their fan song ‘EVERYDAY’ in surprise on the 7th, celebrating their 1-year debut anniversary.
The song is not a self-ceremony, but is a song celebrating the year they’ve spent with TREASURE MAKER(fandom), containing the earnest will of the members to ‘be next to the fans anywhere and everyday’. The song had even more meaning since it was created by TREASURE and their fans.
Through a special episode of ‘TREASURE MAP’ uploaded in YG Entertainment’s official blog today, TREASURE revealed the M/V and project work process of ‘EVERYDAY’.
Back in May 27, TREASURE held a vote making the fans select the beat for their song through a VLIVE broadcast. As a result, beat no. 1 with a fresh melody was selected, being confirmed as the final track. Approximately 70 thousand fans participated in the vote, which was held for an hour, proving the group’s amazing popularity.
TREASURE actively participated in not only the writing∙composing of the song, but also in record directing and M/V production of the fan song, showing off their great teamwork.
At the recording scene, TREASURE revealed their aspects as a group of talent. CHOI HYUN SUK and BANG YE DAM performed amazing as the directors. They kept on giving advice and praises so each member’s charms and talents would stand out.
As a result, from HARUTO who sang on the intro and YOSHI who took the rap verse, the members completed their recording smoothly while supporting each other. BANG YE DAM revealed, “I directed while focusing on the points our fans like”.
TREASURE also participated in the M/V production. The M/V for ‘EVERYDAY’ contains the bright energy of all 12 members and presents messages they’ve wanted to share with the fans in handwritten letter format with a caption, which warmed the viewers’ hearts.
TREASURE brightly smiled while stating, “We would like to thank our fans who have always stayed with us. We’ll get back to you with better songs and our improved selves”.
After making debut last year on August 7, TREASURE released 4 albums of ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series under YG’s fast·concentrated strategy and kept on staying active. Over 1M copies of the album were sold, giving TREASURE rookie awards in various major award ceremonies as well as creating a sensation in Japan. Numerous global fans are highly anticipating the group’s comeback.
