12 Members of YG TREASURE Present 100% Real Daily Lives… Full of Friendly Charms
[OSEN=박판석 기자] Group TREASURE revealed their 100% real daily lives full of humanity through their second online housewarming party.
On February 19, YG Entertainment uploaded episode 34 of their self-produced reality show ‘TREASURE MAP Season 2’, through their official blog. The episode showed the TREASURE members’ new lives in their new accommodation.
TREASURE has previously revealed their friendliness through their first online housewarming party last year on June, revealing their sincere yet mischievousness. After moving into a new accommodation since debut, the members communicated with the fans once again through a second housewarming party, giving a tour of their new rooms and sharing their daily lives.
After waking up, JIHOON, MASHIHO, DOYOUNG, and PARK JEONG WOO began preparing for lunch. The cooks of the day were members JIHOON and MASHIHO, while DOYOUNG and PARK JEONG WOO were watching them. As the daily chefs, JIHOON and MASHIHO made fried rice full of heart. After having a bite, DOYOUNG looked amazed as he said, “I can eat this for a 100 days in a deserted island”. He also showed fan-love by saying that he would like to open a ‘fried rice event with the fans’ when the current situations regarding the virus get better.
Later, member JIHOON introduced his room through a self-camera. Rooms decorated depending on the members’ individual character and taste have been revealed. JIHOON’s room was full of clothes, photos, and albums of TREASURE which were full of memories and showed the path they’ve walked. MASHIHO filled the room with paintings he drew himself, as well as revealing the powder room redecorated as the ‘MASHIHO atelier’, showing his passion towards art.
After gathering in CHOI HYUN SUK’s room, YOSHI, JUNKYIU, and HARUTO began creating the ‘TREASURE MAP Season 2 Logo Song’. JUNKYU who made the ‘3 Minute TREASURE’ logo song last time suggested an impactful intro saying, “Find Your Treasure!” as soon as he heard the beat, while YOSHI offered a 4-syllable poem with ‘TREASURE MAP’. They began the recording, while producer CHOI HYUN SUK created the completed version of the ‘TREASURE MAP’ Season 2 logo song in an instant like a pro, with the members’ variety of vocals standing out.
CHOI HYUN SUK revealed his room after completing the song work. Starting by revealing the behind photos, his room had a mini PC-room, a dress room suited for fashion people, and even blue LED lights, explaining CHOI HYUN SUK’s character. YOSHI’s room was also special. The viewers took a peek into YOSHI’s paintings and music room studio. It revealed YOSHI’s aspirations to work not only in the field of music, but also in the fields of fashion and art.
The rooms of YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, BANG YE DAM, and SO JUNG HWAN were also revealed. ASAHI decorated his room with unique vibes, which grabbed the people’s attention. From a camera capturing the members and scenery, the room was full of ASAHI’s unique character including a retro turntable, a Bluetooth speaker, and neatly organized colorful sneakers.
After the room introductions were finished, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, and BANG YE DAM gathered in SO JUNG HWAN’s room and presented a comedy skit on the spot, making the viewers burst into laughter. After the skit, the members cooked dinner to appease their hunger. MASHIHO appeared to help out the members and created a dish for the hungry members. After dinner, the members gathered in ASAHI’s room. They listened to music, played guitar, and took photos, wrapping up their normal yet special day.
Meanwhile, TREASURE has recently proved their global popularity by being selected as ‘The fastest rising K-Pop artist of 2020’, according to Twitter’s 2020 K-Pop report. TREASURE was also ranked at no. 6 on the ‘Most loved K-pop artists in the world’ list, which was the highest rank among all rookie artists.
In fact, TREASURE has achieved a milestone of surpassing over 1M in album sales with ‘THE FIRST STEP SERIES’. With their successful activities and the fans’ support, TREASURE received rookie awards at numerous major award ceremonies, and are currently scheduled to make official Japanese debut on March 31.
