YG TREASURE Reveals ‘MY TREASURE’ MV Behind… The Key Scene That Makes the Fans’ Hearts Race?
[OSEN=이승훈 기자] While YG’s rookie group TREASURE is receiving popularity on various global charts, the group revealed the MV behind film for the title track of their official debut album, ‘MY TREASURE’, on January 12.
The video began with a lively greeting by all 12 members of TREASURE. TREASURE’s warm yet positive energy fit well with the beautiful piano melody, captivating the hearts of global fans.
Regarding ‘MY TREASURE’, CHOI HYUN SUK introduced, “It’s a song with warm consolation and support”. He emphasized, “We wanted to tell you that we are all preciously shining beings”. PARK JEONG WOO chose “The fantasy fairytale-like set, musical-like direction, and witty acting” as the key focal points of the MV.
After beginning the actual shooting, TREASURE perfectly pulled off their energetic performance along with the dancers along with their facial expression acting. The members playing with each other and smiling throughout the shooting made the viewers take a peek into the amicable mood of the filming scene.
The members brightly smiled while explaining the point move of making a treasure sign with their hands on the ‘You’re the only one TREASURE’ part of ‘MY TREASURE’. It was the key scene that made the global fans’ hearts race once again.
From CHOI HYUN SUK the wizard and PARK JEONG WOO who showed himself in the warm set to TREASURE’s jaw breaking group dance, TREASURE’s nonstop charms presented joy along with their MV behind film.
YOSHI and YOON JAE HYUK stated, “(The MV) Came out really cool and we like it” then cheerly promised, “We’ll do our best”. ASAHI who showed himself in the test room set stated, “It’s a concept of leaving to a fantasy world from reality” and added, “It will raise many people’s empathy”.
HARUTO and DOYOUNG were also satisfied with the MV set and revealed their passion by doing their best in filming. SO JUNG HWAN, who shot the wire scene, made the people laugh after revealing his confidence by stating, “I felt relaxed since I’ve once done it before”.
YOON JAE HYUK stated, “We’ve prepared brightly to give you hope and happiness”. He added, “We wish all the happiness for our TREASURE Makers(fandom)”.
‘MY TREASURE’, the title track from TREASURE’s official debut album, is a song that makes its listeners cheer up and feel good in such hard times. CHOI HYUN SUK·YOSHI·HARUTO were credited as the lyricists of ‘MY TREASURE’, adding sincerity to the message of ‘Everyone in this world is a treasure-like being’.
