HARUTO·BANG YE DAM·YOSHI of TREASURE Melts the Cold Wave with Sunny Smiles
[엑스포츠뉴스=전아람 기자] The ‘sunny smiles’ of TREASURE members and the lyrics for their upcoming title song are warming up the global fans’ hearts.
On January 7, YG Entertainment uploaded 3 lyric posters for TREASURE’s title song ‘MY TREASURE’ from their upcoming official debut album, taken by members HARUTO, BANG YE DAM, and YOSHI, through their official blog.
The members smiling brightly under the clear blue sky without clouds and a green tree were shown in the poster. Their fresh visuals and balloons which represent hope touched the viewers’ childhood innocence as well as making TREASURE’s unique boyish charms stand out.
The warm lyrics of ‘MY TREASURE’, which fit well with the members’ visuals, were also additionally revealed to add warmth. The positive messages of ‘Don’t ever lose your smile’, ‘You will shine when tomorrow comes’, and ‘Come to me anytime and hold my hand’ impressed the viewers.
Since January 5, TREASURE has been revealing the partial lyrics of ‘MY TREASURE’, the title song from their upcoming official debut album, through individual member lyric posters. The warm and sincere lyrics have raised many global fans’ empathy and also raised anticipation on the remaining 3 posters.
‘MY TREASURE’ is known to be a bright Pop genre song being presented by TREASURE for the first time. YG has previously introduced, “The song’s lyrics contains meaning that everyone is a unique treasure-like being” and that it “Has the hopeful message of ‘Let’s cheer up in hard times. The sun will rise and shine again tomorrow’”.
TREASURE’s official debut album ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’ will be released on the 11th at 6 PM, while physical copies will be released the next day, on the 12th. The album will contain a total of 12 tracks, while TREASURE plans to meet the fans 2 hours prior to the release of their album, on the 11th at 4 PM, through the Naver V LIVE ‘COUNTDOWN PARTY’.
