According to YG Entertainment on December 28, BLACKPINK’s ‘PLAYING WITH FIRE’ MV surpassed 600M views on YouTube.
As a result, BLACKPINK now has a total of 6 MVs with over 600M views including ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’(1.4B), ‘Kill This Love’(1.1B), ‘BOOMBAYAH’(1B), ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’(900M), and ‘How You Like That’(700M).
It is the biggest record in K-Pop girl group history. BLACKPINK’s debut song ‘WHISTLE’ and JENNIE’s ‘SOLO’ are also about to reach 600M views soon, so BLACKPINK’s record march is expected to continue.
‘PLAYING WITH FIRE’ is one of the double title songs from BLACKPINK’s second digital single ‘SQUARE TWO’, The lyrics which metaphorically state the heart of a girl who’s in love as playing with fire and the song’s Tropical House genre sounds are receiving steady love and support from the fans.
