“An SF Movie Set? Luxury Design on 6,000 Pyeongs”… YG’s New Headquarters Interior Photo Acquired for the First Time
[OSEN=심언경 기자] Group TREASURE’s MV for ‘MMM’ is becoming a hot topic since it has been known that the video was shot in YG Entertainment(hereby YG)’s new headquarters.
The construction for YG’s new headquarters has been completed on September after 8 years of detailed planning and designing. The building area of 6,000 pyeongs and its futuristic design shows YG’s high status. Meanwhile, OSEN acquired the interior photos of YG’s new headquarters for the first time.
Related officials of TREASURE’s ‘MMM’ MV shooting has provided interior photos of YG’s new headquarters to OSEN on the 8th. It is the first time that the interior photos of the building has been revealed through photos taken by an individual, not through YG’s official video.
TREASURE has previously released their third single album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER THREE’ and the MV for its title song ‘MMM’ on the 6th at 6 PM through all music platforms.
The MV for ‘MMM’ grabbed the global fans’ interest, especially. It was due to TREASURE’s fast comeback, but also due to the fact that the video was shot in YG’s new headquarters.
Through the MV for ‘MMM’ and photos exclusively acquired by OSEN, one can take a peek into the sensuous interior of YG’s new headquarters, which have been prepared by YG for a long time. The new headquarters reminded the viewers of an SF movie set with its unprecedented scale, in addition to its fresh design which broke the mold of an ordinary office building.
Regarding their new headquarters, YG has previously revealed, “We will train new artists in our new headquarters, equipped with the latest high-tech skills, and help raise the status of K-Pop in the global market”. The people are looking forward to what kind of K-Pop history YG will write in their new headquarters.
