YOON of WINNER Reveals Group Photo Celebrating the Team’s 7-Year Anniversary, “A New Family”
[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] A photo of group WINNER(YOON, JINU, MINO, HOONY) was revealed to celebrate the team’s 7-year anniversary.
On October 25, YOON uploaded a photo on his social media with the caption, “The day I got a new family, a new fence. 20131025”.
The uploaded photo showed YOON, JINU, MINO, and HOONY spending an enjoyable time at the beach. While having their arms on each other’s shoulders, the members smiled, presenting their true friendship.
WINNER appeared on the survival program ‘WIN’ as team A back in August 2013, and earned their team name ‘WINNER’ on October 25 after winning their fierce competition against team B.
The group made official debut on August 2014. Starting with their debut single ‘EMPTY’, they released multiple hits including ‘BABY BABY’, ‘REALLY REALLY’, ‘LOVE ME LOVE ME’, ‘EVERYDAY’, ‘MILLIONS’, and ‘AH YEAH’, receiving love from numerous music fans in and out of Korea. They stood out as a team based on their steady growth in musicality along with their amazing live performances and each member’s unique individualities. The members were also successful as solo artists.
After JINU and HOONY began their mandatory military service on April, the remaining members of WINNER are focusing on individual activities.
YOON will appear on MBC’s new drama series titled ‘Kairos’(Script by Lee Suhyun / Directed by Park Seungwoo) which will premiere on October 26 at 9:20 PM, as character Lim Gunwook. He is also working on his upcoming album, with the goal of releasing it this year.
MINO will release his second solo album on October 30 at 6 PM. MINO wrote·composed·produced all 12 tracks including the title song, ‘Run Away’.
