August 8 was BLACKPINK’s 4th year debut anniversary. After making debut on August 8, 2016, BLACKPINK received a lot of love due to their charming visuals and amazing talents. They’ve rewrote K-Pop history by releasing numerous hits including ‘WHISTLE’, ‘BOOMBAYAH’, ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, and ‘Kill This Love’.

To celebrate BLACKPINK’s 4th year debut anniversary, the fans gifted the group a special present. The fans of JENNIE launched a Ladybug satellite. The satellite contained a photo celebrating JENNIE’s 4th year debut anniversary. The project was launched by the manager of “CHINAJENNIEBAR”, which is JENNIE’s biggest fan community in China.

The satellite is the only satellite in the world to carry a display and a selfie stick, which allows it to shoot the earth from space. JENNIE has now become the first-ever K-Pop idol to have her debut celebration photo displayed in space through a satellite.

Furthermore, the Chinese fans of LISA flew drones in Pudong, Shanghai. The drones decorated the sky with words “LALISA” “LISA♥︎57” “DANCE QUEEN”, as well as creating a magnificent scene which reminded the viewers of LISA’s looks.
