YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Teases Debut Song Performance… 24 Hours, ‘Debut Imminent’
[스포츠조선닷컴=김수현 기자] TREASURE’s hard work and dedication towards their upcoming debut have been revealed.
On July 24 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the final episode of ‘TREASURE MAP’ through their official blog and YouTube channel.
The video began from TREASURE’s early morning schedule. BANG YE DAM, DOYOUNG, and HARUTO appeared with their school uniforms on, not neglecting their studies despite their busy schedules. Meanwhile, CHOI HYUN SUK·JIHOON·YOSHI·JUNKYU·MASHIHO·YOON JAE HYUK·ASAHI·HARUTO·SO JUNG HWAN controlled their breakfast diet to present themselves in better shape.
At 11 AM, CHOI HYUN SUK·BANG YE DAM·DOYOUNG·PARK JEONG WOO took an English class. They said hello to the global fans with their practiced English skills despite being shy, raising the mood of the scene.
The members of TREASURE then focused on training. JUNKYU announced that he will give out a hint on their upcoming debut song but raised the fans’ curiosities with an odd comment, which the viewers were hard to make a guess. DOYOUNG focused on singing and dancing, while ASAHI fell deeply into his practice while playing the keyboard himself. YOON JAE HYUK sang while making eye-contact with the camera, while HARUTO and YOSHI showed off their amazing rap skills.
They also worked on physical training. The members worked on their stamina at the gym. They seemed to suffer as the intensity rose, but did their best while stating, “We should work on our fitness since our debut is just around the corner”.
After working out, TREASURE focused on practicing their debut song again. They focused on their performance after their warmup, and approximately 3 seconds of their choreography have been revealed, grabbing the attention of global fans.
The members encouraging each other warmed the hearts of viewers. They held an ice cream party with the money JIHOON, JUNKYU, and YOON JAE HYUK made while working at a snack bar on episode 24 of ‘TREASURE MAP’, revealed on the 17th. SO JUNG HWAN, the youngest member, touched the hearts of members by stating, “It’s hard, but all my brothers will feel the same, so I work harder”. YOON JAE HYUK stated, “I received so much help from my brothers on this choreography. I thank CHOI HYUN SUK and JIHOON”. When ASAHI stated, “I couldn’t have done it by myself”, JIHOON revealed TREASURE’s deep friendship by replying, “It was possible because all 12 of us were here”.
MASHIHO blushed while stating, “It reminds me of when I was a trainee”. BANG YE DAM stated, “I can’t believe it’s happening” and added, “It’s amazing that this is becoming reality. I want to pour out everything I can”. DOYOUNG hoped, “The song will soon come out, so I would appreciate it if people would listen to it with their minds open”, and the 12 members held hands with each other while yelling, ‘Fighting’.
Before going to bed, the members were sorry that they’ve just shot the last episode of ‘TREASURE MAP’ and expressed their gratitude towards the Treasure Makers (fans). They stated, “It’s the first content TREASURE made together” and added, “Thanks to TREASURE MAP, we got really close to each other. We made a lot of memories. Thank you so much for watching”.
TREASURE, confirmed to make debut on August 7, is YG’s fourth boy group following BIGBANG, WINNER, and iKON, and is regarded as the biggest rookies of K-Pop in 2020. The music and performances TREASURE will present to captivate the hearts of music fans are still in veil, but the people are paying keen attention since it is a major project prepared by YG, targeting the global music industry.
