‘YG’s Rookie Group’ TREASURE Reveals Individual Member Posters… Receives Global Attention

On July 24, YG Entertainment uploaded intro posters of CHOI HYUN SUK·JUNKYU·SO JUNG HWAN and JIHOON·HARUTO·PARK JEONG WOO through their official blog.
The members revealed their energy of youth as rookies under the bright colored lights in the poster. Their charismatic eyes and confident facial expressions grabbed the viewers’ attention.
On top of the member names, phrases ‘THE FIRST STEP’ and ‘2020.08.07’ were written in addition to the shining jewel design, making the people realize that the group’s debut is just around the corner.
YG has revealed TREASURE’s concept teaser clip recently, notifying the beginning of a major project. Innovational incidents that contributed to the growth of mankind became motives and got connected to TREASURE’s identity, notifying the ‘TREASURE effect’ along with the narration, “Will That Will Shake the World”.
The MV shooting scene revealed through their social media surpassed 1M views despite being a short clip, proving the heated attention on the group.
TREASURE is a boy group being presented by YG in approximately 4 years since BLACKPINK. The group was formed through the survival program ‘YG TRESURE BOX’, aired from November 2018 until January 2019.
They have been closely communicating with the global fans through various video contents including ‘TREASURE MAP’, ‘A 3 Minute TREASRE’, and ‘Dance Performance Videos’. As a result, TREASURE has approximately 1.28M YouTube channel subscribers and a total of 100M accumulated views.
The music and performances TREASURE will present as the biggest rookies of K-Pop in 2020 are still in veil, but since it is a major project by YG targeting the global music industry, the people are paying keen attention.
