BLACKPINK at No. 1 on YouTube Views for 2 Consecutive Weeks, ‘Artist of the Month’
[스타뉴스=윤상근 기자] Girl group BLACKPINK was ranked at no. 1 on the Weekly K-Pop Radar with their amazing new record, as well as being selected as the ‘artist of the month’.
K-Pop Radar revealed, “BLACKPINK was ranked at no. 1 on the YouTube Views chart for 2 consecutive weeks, as well as winning the honor of becoming the ‘artist of the month’”, on the 10th.
BLACKPINK’s ‘How You Like That’ MV surpassed over 90M views in 30 hours, the data collection period for the 26th week, which was the highest figure in K-Pop Radar history. The video then reached 121.24M views, becoming the first artists to reach over 100M views in a weekly timeframe.
The video also surpassed 160M views in 102 hours, topping K-Pop Radar’s Monthly View chart as well.
BLACKPINK also performed well on K-Pop Radar’s Instagram chart. The individual accounts and the team’s official account were ranked in the TOP5. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s official Instagram account followers increased by 1.4M within a month, surpassing a total of 25M accumulated followers.
Meanwhile, the K-Pop Radar fan café chart showed the rapid rise of BTS. After Jimin left a post on BTS’ official fan café, which became stagnant after the release of the Weverse application, showed a rapid upward trend.
