BLACKPINK’s New MV Becomes Fastest MV to Hit 200M Views
[연합뉴스=김효정 기자] BLACKPINK is continuing their ‘record march’. After becoming the fastest MV to reach 100M views on YouTube, the video also became the fastest MV to surpass 200M views.
YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK’s pre-release single ‘How You Like That’ MV surpassed 200M views on YouTube on July 3 at 6:46 PM.
The video was released on the 26th at 6 PM, KST. The video surpassed 100M views in 32 hours, the shortest amount of time, and has surpassed 200M views in 7 days.
The previous record was held by Pop star Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’(7.6 days).
BLACKPINK’s ‘Kill This Love’ had the fastest record among all K-Pop groups by hitting 200M views in 11.7 days, while the group now has a world record with their latest release.
BLACKPINK, the ‘YouTube Queens’, holds 19 videos with over 100M views including their MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ which surpassed 1.2B views, ‘Kill This Love’ which is about to reach 900M views, and their MV for ‘BOOMBAYAH’.
