On June 26 at 6 PM, BLACKPINK released ‘How You Like That’ on global music platforms. It is their new release in 1 year and 2 months, as well as their pre-release title song of their first-ever official album upcoming in September.
The song ‘How You Like That’ received heated responses as soon as the teaser was released, and entered Melon, the biggest music platform in Korea, as no. 1. It has been 2 years since a girl group has entered the chart as no. 1, while the group also put the people in awe by gathering over 100 thousand users in 1 hour. It is the biggest record in K-Pop girl group history. The song also entered Genie and Bugs as no. 1, proving their status as a top class girl group.
