YG, “BLACKPINK Will Leave More Than Records This Year”
[더팩트=정병근 기자] BLACKPINK will quench the fans’ thirst with their comeback, various promotional activities, and contents.
BLACKPINK will release their new song ‘How You Like That’ on the 26th at 6 PM. It is their new song being released in a year and 2 months and the pre-release title song of their first-ever official album. The song is a Hip-hop track with BLACKPINK’s unique characteristics and charisma.
‘How You Like That’ will give its listeners a strong impression with the escalating vocals in accordance with the changing emotions throughout the song and its unexpected yet explosive drop. The powerful beat being escalated throughout the song creates a harmony with BLACKPINK’s message of ‘moving forward and up despite any dark situations’.
The MV of the song is also something to look out for. BLACKPINK has revealed their glamorous styling and hip charms with a set that reminds the viewers of an ancient film, in addition to large scale wings, raising curiosities on the full version MV.
BLACKPINK is expected to meet their fans with a variety of contents, as they are making comeback in a year and 2 months since they released ‘Kill This Love’ last year on April.
YG Entertainment revealed, “BLACKPINK will go on a variety of promotional activities in addition to their exclusive reality show, ‘24/365 with BLACKPINK”. They added, “The members are determined to repay the love they’ve received from fans and will leave more meaning this year than simply achieving record-breaking success”.
BLACKPINK will meet the global fans through their ‘countdown live’ being broadcasted on V LIVE and their official channel on YouTube at 5 PM, an hour prior to the song’s release. They will present their comeback performance through NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on the 26th(local time) and begin their full-scale activities staring with their appearance on ‘Inkigayo’ on the 28th.
Following ‘How You Loke That’, BLACKPINK will release their second new song between July~August in special format, followed up by their first-ever official album release in September.
