BLACKPINK LISA Signs Model Contract with Chinese Enterprise… A ‘Flood’ of Love Calls
[마이데일리=양유진 기자] LISA of group BLACKPINK signed model contracts with global brands and large-scale Chinese enterprises, receiving the attention from the industry.
According to YG Entertainment on May 13, LISA of BLACKPINK signed a model contract with P&G Downy, the global fabric softener brand, and is actively promoting its products for the local Chinese customers.
Furthermore, she has also signed a brand-new model contract with one of the largest diaries firm in China and is about to shoot the advertisement.
YG Entertainment explained, “In addition to the two enterprises, firms from various industries within the Chinese market are flooding LISA with love calls”.
LISA’s popularity in China is rising. LISA grabbed the continent with her charms as a member of BLACKPINK, the world-class girl group representing the K-wave, and as a talented artist.
It is reviewed that her global popularity, unrivaled dance skills, her bright and lovely image, exotic look, and fashion senses have become hot topics, establishing her as a ‘wannabe star’ among the young people of China.
LISA is currently mentoring on ‘Qing Chun You Ni 2’, the audition program currently being broadcasted through iQIYI, and is receiving favorable reviews among fans.
Every week when ‘Qing Chun You Ne 2’ has broadcasted, LISA’s name dominates the real-time searched keywords list on Weibo, transferring the program’s popularity to the online users.
In fact, LISA’s global presence is very strong. She has a huge amount of following on social media including Instagram and Weibo. The number of followers on social media is one of the criterions to estimate one’s popularity, credibility, and influential power.
LISA’s Weibo account surpassed 5 million followers in a short amount of time, while the number of Instagram followers have surpassed 32 million. It is the biggest figure among all Korean celebrities and is within the global top 1%.

LISA re-opened this opportunity as a female K-Pop artist.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, the group LISA’s part of, announced the news on their participation on Lady Gaga’s album as featuring artists, which raised expectations on the group’s comeback. Lady Gaga’s album will be released on the 29th. In the meantime, BLACKPINK is currently preparing hard for their upcoming album.
