YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Presents ‘Beagle-Like Charms’ as 12 Members in Full… ‘Draws Attention’ Through Their Iksan Tour
[OSEN=연휘선 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE made another unforgettable memory. The 12 members went on a trip together, showing off their tight friendship and presenting their joyous chemistry.
On March 6 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed episode 8 of ‘TREASURE MAP’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s official YouTube channel. The video showed TREASURE going on a day trip to Iksan, which is PARK JEONG WOO and SO JUNG HWAN’s hometown.
The members presented their beagle-like charms from the start of their tour. The eldest member CHOI HYUN SUK could not hide his excitement on taking the KTX for the first time of his life, while mood-maker JIHOON kept on telling jokes to the other members that meals will be served.
After arriving in Iksan, PARK JEONG WOO and SO JUNG HWAN became daily tour guides. They focused on their roles as tour guides while wearing a mic and waving flags, while the elder members made active reactions while laughing as if they thought the two younger members were cute.
Members JIHOON, JUNKYU, MASHIHO, DOYOUNG, and HARUTO became team ‘JUNG HWAN Tour’. The team visited the art center located in the Culture and Art Street. The members took photos in various poses in the photo zone and revealed their charms by performing a theatre of situations and exploded their excitement by taking a video with the MV filming concept of ‘Going Crazy’, which is the signal song of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’.
CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, and BANG YE DAM visited a famous restaurant under the guidance of PARK JEONG WOO. YOON JAE HYUK could not hide his excitement when he explained how to properly taste beef tartare bibimbap to the members, while YOSHI found joy as he tasted soondae for the first time of his life.
The two teams also presented a surprise fashion show, adding joy to their journey. Team ‘JUNG HWAN Tour’ wore school uniforms from the 70s while presenting their spectacular visuals, allowing them to become the ‘Iksan Newtro Boys’. Team ‘JEONG WOO Tour’ also perfectly matched retro fashion with clothes they’ve shopped from an apparel store located in Iksan, which made the viewers burst into laughter.
TREASURE made unforgettable memories with the members while visiting tourist attractions of the area. After arriving in Mireuksaji Stone Pagoda after listening to PARK JEONG WOO’s detailed explanations, the members reminded themselves the purpose of the trip after realizing that the pagoda restoration period was the same as the YG TREASURE BOX filming period. Team JUNG HWAN also made precious memories while feeding the animals after visiting an animal farm.
As the final schedule, all members of TREASURE gathered at a roller-skating rink and performed a relay race, which presented the group’s fantastic chemistry. The members did not give up although they’ve slipped and fell since they were unfamiliar with roller-skating, while DOYOUNG with experience took good care of the members, creating a heartwarming scene.
While currently on their full-scale debut project this year, TREASURE is communicating with the global fans through various contents including ‘TREASURE MAP’ which covers the story of 12 members heading towards the subscribers’ hearts(treasure), in addition to ‘TMI’ which covers the behind stories of TREASURE’s official schedules.
