YG Rookie Group ‘TREASURE’ Presents a ‘Surprise Graduation Party’ That Made YOON JAE HYUK Emotional
[동아닷컴=정희연 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE presented a special graduation party for member YOON JAE HYUK, which made the viewers laugh while touching their hearts.
On February 28 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed episode 7 of ‘TREASURE MAP’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s official YouTube channel.
The members of TREASURE prepared a special party for YOON JAE HYUK, who was frustrated since his graduation ceremony was canceled due to the covid-19 virus.
YOON JAE HYUK who did not see this coming, revealed his frustrations on his final way to school alone by stating, “I had big dreams regarding the graduation ceremony, but neither my parents, members, nor friends can come”.
On his way out after his graduation, he was in fact frustrated that his fellow members weren’t waiting at the front gate.
However, the members were preparing for a surprise party for YOON JAE HYUK, two days before his graduation. The members split into 3 teams and went out to buy graduation presents for YOON JAE HYUK.
JUNKYU, ASAHI, PARK JEONG WOO, and SO JUNG HWAN went out to buy a bag as a team. The members were surprised by ASAHI passionately expressing his opinion as if the bag he chose was sincerely his type and decided to purchase the bag. JUNKYU and ASAHI did a theatre of situations on shooting a pictorial while holding the bag, making the viewers burst into laughter.
CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, MASHIHO, and HARUTO went out to buy shoes. As they exactly knew YOON JAE HYUK’s fashion taste, they let go of their beagle-like charms for a while and focused on choosing the gift. DOYOUNG and JIHOON became a human bouquet since they were chosen at a draw, while BANG YE DAM and YOSHI went out to buy flowers after turning into florists.
The members began preparing for the party after returning to the practice room. YOON JAE HYUK was in awe at the scene he did not expect at all, after arriving heavy footed. He was moved by the members’ devotion of preparing flowers and shoes he had always wanted. In particular, the rolling paper written by the members with sincerity made him emotional.
DOYOUNG revealed the group’s heartwarming friendship by stating, “Brother JAE HYUK, who always makes us smile and happy. We’ll make you smile and happy as well from now on. We love you”.
The group added more heartwarming moments by sharing words of blessings and encouraging YOON JAE HYUK who became an adult. CHOI HYUN SUK reminded himself of YOON JAE HYUK during his childhood and recalled, “He was a practice bug”. JIHOON also touched people’s hearts by revealing that he has been silently supporting YOON JAE HYUK when he said, “I wanted to take care of you since you remind me of myself when I was young. I cried a lot, but I hope you don’t have to go through the same struggles”.
While currently on their full-scale debut project, TREASURE is communicating with the fans through various and sincere contents including ‘TREASURE MAP’ which covers the story of 12 members who head towards the subscribers’ hearts, in addition to ‘TMI’ which covers the behind stories of TREASURE’s official schedules.
