High Expectations on ‘YG’s Rookie Group’ TREASURE… ‘Going Crazy’ Performance Film+Vertical Cam Surpasses 5 Million Views
[엑스포츠뉴스=이덕행 기자] Expectations on YG’s rookie group TREASURE are raising day by day. The global fans are continuously supporting the group after witnessing the growth and transformation of TREASURE members, turning on the green light on the group’s upcoming debut.
It all started in full-scale after the performance film of TREASURE’s ‘Going Crazy’ was revealed. ‘Going Crazy’ is the signal song of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, the program which shares the birth process of TREASURE. As a result, the song has a special meaning for both TREASURE and the Treasure Makers.
The choreography performed by TREASURE on the ‘Going Crazy’ performance film was an upgraded version which was modified up to 90 percent from the original version, while the video also presented the vocals·rap·teamwork of the 12 members of TREASURE which grabbed the people’s attention.
TREASURE revealed the full-member performance film of ‘Going Crazy’ and a vertical cam video last month on the 30th and on this month on the 1st. As of February 3, the videos had 3.96 million views and 1.3 million views respectively and is still currently stacking up view counts restlessly.
The two videos add up to over 5 million views. Considering that they are performance contents by a rookie group yet to make official debut and it hasn’t even been four days since the videos were released, the figures are really something.
Furthermore, since fans from not only Korea but also overseas are showing passionate support, the people can realize the fans’ high expectations towards TREASURE. In fact, the hashtag ‘#GOINGCRAZYwithTREASURE’ was ranked at no. 1 on the global trend rankings of Twitter last month on the 30th.
TREASURE is getting closer to their fans through various contents on YouTube. ‘TREASURE MAP’ which the members become creators themselves to make contents for their fans and ‘TMI’ which covers the behind stories of TREASURE’s schedules allow the group to closely communicate with their fans.
TREASURE, composed of 12 members including CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, JUNKU, MASHIHO, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, BANG YE DAM, DOYOUNG, HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, and SO JUNG HWAN, have been improving their skills and talents in singing, dancing, and composing for the past year while preparing to make debut.
