iKON Completes Japan Tour Under Heated Support…”Working on a New Song”
[OSEN=지민경 기자] iKON decorated the finale of their ‘iKON YEAR END LIVE 2019’ tour held in Japan, proving their sturdy popularity.
On December 30th and on the 31st, iKON held the final concerts of their ‘iKON YEAR END LIVE 2019’ tour in Kobe World Memorial Hall. The tour began in Nagoya on December 14th and gifted iKONIC an unforgettable end of the year through a total of 9 concerts that continued through Yokohama and Kobe.
iKON recently surpassed an accumulated audience of 1 million in Japan through their recent ‘iKON YEAR END LIVE 2019’ tour, proving their heated local popularity. While fortifying their position as popular performers, iKON continued their success streak with all tickets sold out for their latest tour as well.
In the opening, iKON fascinated the fans by presenting ‘FREEDOM’ and ‘BIRTHDAY’ along with their unique performance. When iKON played their mega hit song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, the audience filled up the stadium with sounds by singing along. Until the concert ended, they filled up the show with songs that presented iKON’s diverse musical spectrum.
Furthermore, iKON and the fans shared happiness together while celebrating DK’s birthday. DK, who’s birthday is on January 3rd, expressed his gratitude on the surprise event by stating, “Thank you, everyone. I feel shy, but I feel happy”.
iKON also made the fans passionately react by announcing that they are working to release a new album. The audience cheered when iKON stated, “We’re working to release a new song. We’ll be on more tours on 2020 by preparing more new tracks. Please look forward to it”.
The group then shared their gratitude by stating “We’ll work hard on 2020 so that we all can be happier” and concluded their tour after communicating with the fans with undiminishing passion, until the very end.
