“Just by You Breathing, I’m Thankful”… Lyrics of ‘OMG’ Written by 3 Thousand Fans of WINNER ‘Touches Hearts’
[OSEN=강서정 기자] Group WINNER gathered the handwritings of thousands of fans to complete the meaning of their song, ‘OMG’.
On November 23 at 10 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded the lyric video of ‘OMG’, a song listed on WINNER’s third mini album ‘CROSS’, through their official blog.
The lyric video of ‘OMG’ was released in a month after the album’s release and is a work of gift created by WINNER and their fan club, INNER CIRCLE.
For 6 days from November 5th until the 10th, the handwritings of approximately 3 thousand fans were gathered through google form, which was later used to fill out a page of memory through WINNER’s lyric video.
‘OMG’ is a song which represents the group’s gratitude towards their fans, who always stay beside WINNER and give the members strength. JINU, MINO, HOONY, and YOON also meditated their sincere lyrics by writing them down with their own hands.
In addition, the background of the lyric video showed WINNER participating in the according event as well as behind-the-scenes of their music video shooting scene and the members connecting with the fans while performing on a concert, which touched the viewers’ hearts.
After beginning their Asia tour titled ‘WINNER [CROSS] TOUR’ by holding a concert in Seoul on October 26th and on the 27th, WINNER is working hard preparing to meet INNER CIRCLE all over Asia.
Moreover, tickets for the group’s first-ever solo concerts to be held in Bangkok in Macau were sold out, while additional concerts have been confirmed to be held. The excitement and heat on WINNER’s upcoming concerts are steadily rising.
Beginning in Taipei on the 24th(local time), WINNER will begin their Asia tour and will continue to meet their fans in Jakarta, Macau, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Ho Chi Minh, and Singapore.
