BLACKPINK’s ‘DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO’ Dance Practice Video Surpasses 100 Million Views… ‘Hot Popularity’

[서울경제=김주희 기자] BLACKPINK added another dance video with over ‘100 million views’ to their collection. They proved their nickname as the ‘YouTube Queens’ and their status as a top global girl group.

The dance practice video for ‘Don’t Know What To Do’ surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, as of November 12 at 5:53 PM.

With the new record, BLACKPINK now has a total of 9 dance practice videos with over 100 million views. The high view counts of not only their music videos, but also dance practice videos, prove the global interest and popularity towards BLACKPINK.

BLACKPINK has earned the title, ‘first-ever K-Pop group’, numerous times. The group has a total of 19 videos with over 100 million views including official music videos and music broadcast contents uploaded on their YouTube channel.

The music video for their mega-hit song, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, became the first K-Pop group video to reach 1 billion views. The group also set a new record by holding 3 music videos with over 700 million views including ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, ‘BOOMBAYAH’, and ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’. BLACKPINK also set the first and best records on the US Billboard main charts and UK’s Official Charts as a K-Pop girl group as well.

BLACKPINK is globally active while surpassing the boundaries of K-Pop.

After recently completing their first-ever world tour, composed of 32 concerts held in a total of 23 cities of 4 continents, won 3 categories at the ’E! People‘s Choice Awards’ held on the 11th(KST).

BLACKPINK won every category they were nominated for including The Group of 2019, The Music Video of 2019, and The Concert Tour of 2019.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will soon hold a dome tour in Japan. The tour will begin in Tokyo Dome on December and continue in Osaka Kyocera Dome next year on January, and in Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome February.
