BLACKPINK LISA to Appear on ‘QING CHUN YOU NI’ Season 2 as New Mentor
[OSEN=지민경 기자] LISA of group BLACKPINK will appear on ‘QING CHUN YOU NI’, the Chinese version of Produce 101, as a mentor. ‘QING CHUN YOU NI’ announced the appearance of LISA as a mentor through their official social media account on the 15th. They welcomed LISA’s addition to the team and introduced her by stating that she possesses the most daring eyes while performing.
‘QING CHUN YOU NI’, which will be broadcasted on iQiyi, the Chinese video platform, is a survival program known as the Chinese version of ‘Produce 101’. 9 members will be selected as a group that will make debut among a total of 100 trainees through fan voting.
Lay of EXO participated on the first season of ‘QING CHUN YOU NI’ as the national producer, while The8 of SEVENTEEN and singer Jolin Tsai appeared as mentors. The 9 members that were ultimately selected made debut as group ‘UNINE’.
Unlike the previous season which auditioned male trainees, season 2 will run survival missions among female trainees. LISA displayed her confidence as a new mentor by saying hello to the fans in Chinese on a video that was revealed with the announcement.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has recently completed their first-ever world tour composed of 32 concerts held in a total of 23 cities in 4 different continents. They will continue meeting their fans by holding a dome tour in Japan consisted of 4 concerts in 3 cities including their concerts to be held in Tokyo Dome on December, in Osaka Kyocera Dome next year on January, and in Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome on February.
