BLACKPINK to Make Comeback on End of March… MV Filming This Week [OFFICIAL]

[스포티비뉴스=정유진기자] BLACKPINK is making a return to the K-Pop scene on end of March. It’s their comeback in 9 months since ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’.
According to YG Entertainment on March 18, BLACKPINK is making comeback on the end of this month with a new song. The group will be filming their MV this week.
YG Entertainment’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK has previously announced BLACKPINK’s comeback through the ‘FROM YG’ corner. The release will be in a mini album format, just like ‘SQUARE UP’ which included the song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’.
YANG HYUN SUK showed confidence on the level of completion on BLACKPINK’s new songs by writing, “When I recall listening to BLACKPINK’s new songs through TEDDY, I remember feeling relief since the songs were better than what I imagined. Please look forward to them”.
BLACKPINK has been setting milestones every time they released new songs. In addition to their debut single ‘WHISTLE’, ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ and ‘BOOMBAYAH’ not only topped music broadcasts and charts but also surpassed 500 million views on YouTube. The MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ became the first MV in K-Pop to surpass 700 million views on YouTube, writing the fastest record of all time.
After recently completing their Asia tour, BLACKPINK is proving their global popularity once again by holding a large-scale world tour including North America, Europe, and Australia.
