BLACKPINK Selected as the Cover Models of US Billboard for the ‘First Time as a Korean Girl Group’… First Hint Photo Revealed [Oh!SSEN CUT]

On February 27(local time), Billboard wrote, “Hey #blinks! We’re giving you the chance to unlock our brand-new cover, starring BLACKPINK. Here’s your first hint! Tweet #BLACKPINKxBILLBOARD to unlock the next piece” on their official social media account.
In addition, Billboard revealed part of the photo which is expected to be a cover photo by BLACKPINK. The image showed a hand of what is assumed to be one of BLACKPINK member’s, holding a piece of cloth in flannel pattern.
One cannot assume what the photo is exactly about, but the fans are showing explosive reactions. The posting was retweeted in a fast pace as soon as it was posted, while numerous replies are being written down.
BLACKPINK surprised the public by decorating the cover of Billboard for the first time as a Korean girl group. As the global music fans and related officials are paying keen attention to BLACKPINK, it is expected that the group will receive even more heated reactions and attention when the final version of the cover unveils to the public.
After challenging the global market by partnering with Interscope Records, BLACKPINK has recently left a strong impression on US local viewers by appearing on well-known TV programs such as CBS’ ‘The Late Show’, ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’, and ‘Strahan and Sara’. In addition, BLACKPINK will perform at ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’, the largest music festival of the US, for the first time as K-Pop idols on April 12 and 19. The group will then go on a North America tour consisted of a total of 6 concerts in 6 cities concert in Los Angeles to be held on April 17, BLACKPINK will perform in Chicago on April 24, Hamilton on April 27, Newark on May 1, Atlanta on May 5, and in Fort Worth on May 8.
