BLACKPINK to Hold Additional Concert in Manchester, UK… Concert in 6 Cities of Europe
[스포츠조선=조윤선 기자] BLACKPINK added a concert in Manchester to their world tour schedule for Europe.
YG Entertainment officially announced that BLACKPINK will hold a concert in Manchester Arena, UK on May 21 through their official social media account.
BLACKPINK has previously notified that they will hold a concert in Amsterdam on May 18, London on May 22, Berlin on May 24, Paris on May 26, and in Barcelona on May 28 through the BLACKPINK 2019 WORLD TOUR with KIA [IN YOUR AREA] EUROPE poster.
As the Manchester concert to be held on May 21 has been added on to the schedule, BLACKPINK will meet their fans in Europe by performing 6 concerts in 6 representative regions of Europe.
In addition to the ongoing tour in Asia, BLACKPINK will also extend their world tour to Europe where the concert locations have been confirmed, in addition to North America and Australia.
Starting with their Bangkok concert last month on the 11th, BLACKPINK finished their concerts in Jakarta, Hong Kong, and Manila, and will hold concerts in Singapore on the 15th, Kuala Lumpur on the 23rd and 24th, and in Taipei on March 3.
Along with their first-ever world tour, BLACKPINK will continue to take steps as a global girl group by appearing on a well-known American TV show.
On February 11th (local time), BLACKPINK will appear on CBS’ ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ and on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America, GMA’ on the 12th. They will also appear on ‘Strahan and Sara(GMA Day)’ on the 15th.
‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ is the representative late-night talk show by CBS and has been ranked at no. 1 with viewers ratings 2 and 3 times more than its competitive programs including ‘Jimmy Fallon Show’ and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Show’, respectively.
Famous artists, actors, and even influential politicians including Hillary Clinton, Lady Gaga, Ryan Reynolds, Justin Timberlake, and Jack Black have appeared on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ as guests. Furthermore, superstars including Paul Simon, Lil Wayne, Janelle Monae, and Dua Lipa have performed on this show.
‘Good Morning America’ is a morning news show that represents ABC and has a history of over 40 years. The show also has the highest viewer ratings among all morning shows of the US. ‘Strahan and Sara’ is an afternoon show which is an extension of ‘Good Morning America’, hosted by ‘Michael Strahan’ and ‘Sara Haines’.
