JENNIE ‘SOLO’ Best Edit Contest Winner Announced ‘Syndrome Re-Validated
[헤럴드POP=이미지 기자] The winners of ‘SOLO’ Best Edit Contest were finally announced.
On December 7, 3:30 PM, YG Entertainment revealed the 4 winners of the ‘SOLO’ Best Edit Contest through BLACKPINK’s official Instagram story function.
Since the contest was about editing and creating MVs and choreography videos of ‘SOLO’ which surpassed 100 million views in 23 days, which is the shortest time record in Korean female solo artist history, there were many creative outcomes.
While 2,500 posts were registered for the past 8 days, 4 winners with unique motion graphics and collages with great editing senses were announced. The first winner used ‘hand drawing’ motion graphics along with the subtitles, ‘I’m a shining solo’, while the second winner uses effects of roses flowing on top of a still picture of JENNIE. The third and fourth winners reproduced collages and scenes from the MV, which made the videos more interesting to watch.
JENNIE’s first-ever solo single titled ‘SOLO’ topped major Korean real-time charts for 15 consecutive days, sweeping daily and weekly charts.
The song also topped iTunes Charts in 40 different countries and topped the iTunes ‘World Wide Song Chart’ for the first time as a Korean female solo artist. Furthermore, JENNIE proved her global presence once again by topping US Billboard’s ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart as well.
Meanwhile, JENNIE will appear on MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 8th to present her amazing performance, while receiving the love of fans in and out of Korea.
