[스포츠조선닷컴=정안지 기자] iKON revealed the behind-the-scenes episodes from their concert backstage in Manila.

Today (8th) at 11 AM, YG Entertainment released iKON’s Philippines concert making film. It was a video prepared for the fans to celebrate iKON’s first-ever tour in Manila.

On the uploaded video, SONG abruptly entered the hotel room where the members are staying while taking a self cam, creating a fun episode. SONG became the MV of a small corner titled, ‘Show Me Your Bag’ and introduced the members’ belongings contained in their travel bags.

SONG who entered JU-NE’s room asked JUNE, “Is there an item you always bring on tour”, while JU-NE instantly responded, “a book”, revealing his aspect as a bookworm, contrasting with his mischievous character.

While SONG was turning the camera monitor on BOBBY’s room, he pressed the wrong button and the recording of the self cam stopped. However, SONG did not realize the fact and hosted the corner while holding the camera, which was caught on screen through the sub cam. SONG’s clumsiness made the viewers burst into laughter.

The video also showed the local fans waiting for iKON hours before the concert, while wearing red colored clothes that represent iKON. The local fans held various iKON goods while supporting the group in their own ways, which grabbed the viewers’ attention.

B.I chose the ‘rainbow performance’ as the most memorable event after the concert and explained, “The fans prepared a lot since it’s our first time here”. The fans created a beautiful scene for iKON by lighting up the audience seats with various colors of light, which reminded people of a rainbow. In the end, JAY revealed his affections towards the fans by stating, “Manila was sweeter than vanilla”.

After successfully starting the CONTINUE TOUR in Seoul on August, iKON held concerts in cities including Manila, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Jakarta, and Hong Kong, and successfully finished them with the heated support of global fans.

iKON will now hold the ‘iKON CONTINUE TOUR ENCORE IN SEOUL’ next year on January 6 at 6 PM in Seoul KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Arena) to meet the fans once again. iKON is planning to decorate the finale of the CONTINUE TOUR that started in Seoul and continued through various locations of the world, through their upcoming encore concert in Seoul.

iKON won a total of 19 trophies in music broadcasts with three songs the group released this year including ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, ‘KILLING ME’, and ‘GOODBYE ROAD’. The group also received the ‘Best Song of the Year’ award on the ‘2018 Melon Music Awards’ held on December 1, proving their presence as a popular K-Pop group.
