BLACKPINK to Appear on ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ as Special Judges… Will Pass on Trainee Know-Hows Accumulated for 6 Years
[스포츠조선=김영록 기자] BLACKPINK will evaluate trainees on ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ as special judges.
On December 4, 11 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the second preview for the 4th episode of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’.
The preview video gathered the viewers’ interest as group BLACKPINK with 6 years of trainee experience appeared as judges to evaluate the individual videos for the trainees.
The mission given to the trainees were to ‘express yourself in 3 minutes’ through a video including an individual skill, to take the debut group spot from Treasure 7.
Only the top 5 out of the 21 trainees taking the evaluation will receive a chance to challenge on the Treasure 7.
PARK JIHOON expressed his concern by stating, “I’ve thought a lot about what I should present as my individual skill” while KIM DO YOUNG revealed his feeling of burden by stating, “The biggest problem is practicing for my individual skill”.
The trainees found out and studied on their individual charming points within a restricted time limit. They checked each other’s individual skills, while trying to become one of the 5 challengers.
When the video evaluations began, BLACKPINK appeared as special judges, grabbing the viewers’ attention in an instant.
BLACKPINK cheered or burst into laughter while watching the videos of the trainees’ individual skills.
They reviewed the trainees emitting their charms as “Amazing” and “Cute”, while a scene where they announce the trainees they’ve selected was also previewed through the video.
Unlike existing debut survival programs, ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ reveals YG’s actual music producing know-hows and its internal system accumulated for the past 22 years, presenting the process of the new group’s creation without censorship.
‘YG TREASURE BOX’ surpassed 25 million accumulated views on YouTube and V LIVE in just 3 episodes, receiving heated reactions from the fans. The program is not only reaching high view counts in Korea, but also in Japan and Indonesia.
In addition to the main episodes, the trainees are getting closer to the fans through Diary Cams recording their daily lives, and good morning and good night Vertical Cams that greet the viewers throughout the entire day.
The 4th episode of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, consisted of 10 episodes, will pre-release through V LIVE (V App) on the 7th (Fri) at 10 PM and release through JTBC2 and YouTube on the same night at 12 AM.
