‘D-5′ MINO Reveals First Teaser for ‘Fiancé’, “Knock Knock, I Miss You”

[OSEN=지민경 기자] MINO revealed the teaser for his MV including the first verse of ‘Fiancé’, with the release of his solo album only 5 days ahead.

Today(21st), YG Entertainment revealed the MV teaser for ‘Fiancé’, which is the title song of MINO’s first album, ‘XX’.

The 30-second teaser clip presented an ambient vibe with MINO dressed in all-white, sleeping in a bed laid in the middle of a reed field. MINO dreamed of following a glimpse of a woman between the reed field, presenting sensuous visuals for the viewers.

The first verse of the title song ‘Fiancé’ was also revealed for the first time. The lyrics that stated, “Knock, knock, I miss you” combined with electric organs grabbed the listeners’ ears in an instant.

The song samples the ‘Soyanggang Maid’, the well-known 70s track among Koreans. People are looking forward to check how MINO combined the genre of Hip-Hop with old Korean popular music.

The MV for ‘Fiancé’ was directed by Seo Hyunseung, who previously directed the MV for WINNER’s debut song, ‘Empty’.

MINO participated in the writing and composing of ‘Fiancé’ to raise the completeness of the song to its max, while producers FUTURE BOUNCE and TEXU also participated in the writing of the song.

MINO has produced and participated in the writing and composing of not only ‘Fiancé’, but also all 12 tracks listed on his first solo album.

He chose the title of the album as ‘XX’, to reveal his clear musical color and his hope that his work will be interpreted in various ways, without limiting itself through answers and definitions.

MINO’s first solo album ‘XX’, containing all of MINO’s musical caliber from writing to composing and producing, will be revealed on the 26th.
