iKON’s Charms Worked in the US… An Interview+Spotlight from a Famous Radio Channel
[헤럴드POP=배재련 기자] iKON’s interview with the radio station ‘iHeartRadio’ has been revealed following the group’s interview with iKON, letting iKON receive the spotlight from well-known press channels in the US.
‘iHeartRadio’ is a subsidiary internet broadcasting network affiliated to ‘iHeartMedia’ and started servicing on April 2008. ‘iHeartMedia’ owns over 850 radio stations in 150 locations in the US.
On August 24 (local time), iKON revealed the behind story on the creation of the songs from their new mini album ‘NEW KIDS : CONTINUE’, the key to their teamwork, songs they performed during the YG audition, and more.
On the question “Where do you get inspiration from when you write and compose songs”, leader B.I responded, “There’s a song called ‘For You’ on our new mini album. When I was tired of practice, I looked at the sky glowing with sunset and thought of the fans. I wrote it as if I was writing to my fans”.
On the question ‘Who would you be if you could be one of the members for a day’, JAY chose “BOBBY” and made everyone laugh by stating, “He sleeps well everywhere”.
iKON revealed that the fact that they are ‘all friends’ is the key to remaining the group’s long-time teamwork. The youngest member CHAN explained, “We don’t fight. We just talk”.
Lastly, the members sent a message for overseas fans by stating, “Thank you for showing us love. We always want to say this. We are ready to have fun with fans from various countries”.
From US ‘Billboard’ to ‘iHeartRadio’, iKON is receiving daily spotlight and proving the group’s global influence. Members B.I, DK, and SONG will make guest appearances on JTBC’s ‘Hidden Singer 5’ tomorrow (26th) at 10:30 PM.
