“Who Am I” … G-DRAGON to Reveal ‘Kwon Ji Yong Act lll: M.O.T.T.E’ on September 5
[YTN Star=지승훈 기자] The documentary containing the scenes from G-DRAGON’s last concert before enlistment will be released.
G-DRAGON’s human documentary ‘Kwon Ji Yong Act lll: M.O.T.T.E’ was partially unveiled through the trailer clip uploaded on BIGBANG’s official YouTube channel on August 23 at 9 AM.
G-DRAGON in the video starts with the question “Who am I?” and continues to reveal himself as Kwon Jiyong who’s a ‘human being’ in agony, along with his side as G-DRAGON who’s glamorous on stage.
The documentary which will be officially released on September 5 through YouTube Original contains various aspects of G-DRAGON through the scenes of ‘Act III: Moment of Truth the End’.
The documentary focuses on the weak and lonely ‘real’ Kwon Jiyong, hidden behind G-DRAGON’s confidence and glamorous image who receives cheers on stage. The video spotlighted Kwon Jiyong’s honest thoughts and agony as a K-Pop superstar and a regular person who wants to be loved for being himself.
G-DRAGON held a large-scale world tour last year after releasing his solo album ‘KWON JI YONG’. Starting with his concert in Sangam Seoul World Cup Stadium, he performed in Asia, North America, Oceania, Europe, and 3 domes in Japan. The unprecedented large scale of the tour grabbed the people’s attention, as it was consisted of 36 concerts in 29 cities and gathered 654,000 audiences.
G-DRAGON enlisted on February 27. BIGBANG memorated the fans from V.I.P by releasing ‘FLOWER ROAD’ on March 13, which was the date of DAESUNG’s enlistment. The song was written by G-DRAGON and T.O.P and reminisced all the memories they had with their loyal fans, for the past 12 years since debut.
