[DA:TODAY] iKON Makes Comeback Today #Dark&Sexy #GroupChoreography
[동아닷컴=전효진기자] Group iKON will make comeback today at 6 PM.
Today (2nd) at 12:00 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the D-DAY poster for iKON’s new mini album ‘NEW KIDS : CONTINUE’. Furthermore, the counter was turned on, notifying that iKON’s comeback is now imminent.
Prior to making comeback, members of iKON shared their thoughts by stating, “We prepared this album with a fresh attitude” and added, “We’ll do our best”. B.I who participated in the writing and composing of all tracks in the album stated, “We challenged various genres. We enjoyed every moment to create good music”.
‘NEW KIDS : CONTINUE’ is the final series from the trilogy that began with ‘NEW KIDS:BEGIN’ last year on May and continued with ‘RETURN’ released this year on January. The album will contain a total of 5 tracks including the title song ‘KILLING ME’, sub-title song ‘FREEDOM’, ‘ONLY YOU’, ‘COCKTAIL’, and ‘JUST FOR YOU’.

iKON will go through the most extreme makeover ever since debut. The members perfectly displayed ‘DARK&SEXY’ and ‘WILD&YOUNG’ concepts through pre-released teaser images and videos, capturing the hearts of fans. They will put down their image as a ‘real-life boyfriend’ formed through their representative songs ‘MY TYPE’ and ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ for a while and reveal unexpected roughness.
B.I, JAY, BOBBY dyed their hair in red, green, and purple, respectively. As they are youth in their 20s, fans will also witness the powerful and masculine aspects of the members as well. JU-NE emphasized the differentiation from previous concepts by stating, “We put focus on our moods and colors”.

YG’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK raised the fans’ expectations by making a couple spoilers that read, “Look forward to iKON’s greatest choreography”. The title song ‘KILLING ME’ attracts the listeners and viewers with its powerful and unexpected dance moves that progress along with sad lyrics and dynamic rhythm of the song. On making their first attempt on a thrilling sharp group dance, iKON stated, “It’s a legendary choreography. People will enjoy not only listening to the song, but also watching”. Curiosities on iKON’s full choreography and the full song are raising higher and higher.
After making comeback tonight at 6 PM, iKON will kick off their ‘iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR’ on August 18 at 5 PM, to continue meeting their global fans through the overseas tour.
