‘iKON’ Confirmed to Make Comeback on August 2… Will Continue the Popularity of ‘LOVE SCENARIO’

On July 17 at 10 AM, YG Entertainment revealed a poster noticing iKON’s comeback on August 2.
The 7 members were displaying young and sexy looks in the poster, revealing their unexpected charms. They were dressed in dark toned clothing, while gathering in front of a blueish wall. They also held various flowers, while glittering their eyes.
Their new mini album ‘NEW KIDS:CONTINUE’ is the final edition of the trilogy series that began with ‘NEW KIDS:BEGIN’ last year on May, and continued with ‘RETURN’ this year on January. It contains the meaning of maintaining passion and hard work.
The title song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ from the album ‘RETURN’ topped major real-time music charts for 43 days. The song dominated the first quarter of the K-Pop scene, by sweeping weekly charts for 6 consecutive weeks. iKON also earned global recognition. The song also topped iTunes Album Charts in 17 different countries, Japan’s iTunes Album Comprehensive Chart, and QQ Music’s K-Pop Weekly Chart for 4 consecutive weeks. QQ Music is known as the largest music platform in China.
