BLACKPINK Maintains No. 1 Spot on Music Charts For 9 Days

[텐아시아=김지원 기자] BLACKPINK is maintaining their no. 1 spot on music charts for 9 days.

As of June 23, at 9 AM, the title song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ from BLACKPINK’s first mini album ‘SQUARE UP’ topped major real-time music charts in platforms including Mnet, Naver, Olleh, Bugs, Soribada, Genie, and Melon. 

BLACKPINK’s music is not only receiving support from Korean fans, but also fans worldwide. 

BLACKPINK’s album topped iTunes Album Charts in 44 different countries. They also topped Japan Oricon’s Digital Album Weekly Chart, was ranked at no. 1 on Recochoku Album Daily Rankings, and won 5 crowns on QQ Music, which is China’s largest music platform. 

Well known press from the U.S. including Billboard and Forbes praised BLACKPINK by writing “BLACKPINK is starting a revolution” and that “They are setting milestones with their first-ever mini album”. 

On June 23 at 4:05 PM, BLACKPINK will display a fantastic performance on ‘Show! Music Core’ and will reveal their girl-crush charms through JTBC ‘Idol Room’ at 4:40 PM. They will also hold a fan signing event on the same day at 7:00 PM at Soundwave Goyang, to celebrate the release of their first mini album ‘SQUARE UP’.
