iKON Becomes Group with The Most No. 1s in Early 2018, by Billboard Korea
[매일경제스타투데이=박세연 기자] Group iKON topped the share ratio on Billboard’s KPOP Chart of early 2018.
According to Billboard Korea on the 18th, iKON was the group with the most no. 1s in early 2018.
iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ became the ‘chart topper’ by topping the chart 5 times, while Loco X Hwasa’s ‘Don’t Give it to Me’, WANNAONE’s ‘Boomerang’, and Jang Deok Cheol’s ‘Good Old Days’ were placed at 2nd by topping the chart 3 times.
iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ kept its no. 1 spot for 5 weeks, from the last week of January to the third week of March.
Most no. 1 songs are still ranked high in charts (within the top 50). ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ was placed at no. 21 on the KPOP HOT100 Chart last week.
Billboard Korea announces the KPOP HOT100 Chart every week, according to the number of streams, album sales, broadcast appearances, and broadcast charts. The chart gets updated in Korean on Billboard Korea’s website, while the English version is provided through the International Chart on the U.S. Billboard page for foreign KPOP fans.
