iKON Will Challenge Live Home Shopping Channel Broadcasting on the 29th… “Will Appear as Tasting Models”
[서울연합뉴스=이은정 기자] Group iKON will appear on a live TV home shopping broadcast.
According to YG Entertainment on the 27th, iKON will act as tasting models on Lotte Home Shopping channel for approximately 50 minutes on March 29, at 10:45 PM. They are making their special appearance as one of the part-time experiencing missions going on in ‘iKON TV’, which is the group’s first exclusive reality show.
They will taste the ‘stir fried pork + beef bulgogi’ set from ‘Samgeori’ brand, which is operated by YG Foods. iKON will challenge on selling all inventory available for order during the home shopping broadcast.
Related officials from YG stated, “Lotte Home Shopping scheduled the broadcast during prime time due to iKON’s scheduled appearance, which is unprecedented. Since it is not common for idols to appear in home shopping channels, we hope the fans and viewers will feel freshness while watching the broadcast”.
iKON was placed at no. 1 in various music charts with the title song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ from their 2nd official album, for 43 days. They also topped iTunes charts in 11 different countries with their new single, ‘RUBBER BAND’.
‘iKON TV’ is the first exclusive reality program iKON will be presenting in 4 years since debut, and is expected to premiere at the end of April.
