[★Bam TView] iKON Decorates ‘Weekly Idol’ With 7 Unique Individual Charms
[스타뉴스=이새롬 인턴기자] Group iKON displayed their diverse charms in the variety program, ‘Weekly Idol’.
iKON, who recently made their comeback with the song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, made a guest appearance on MBC Every1’s variety program, ‘Weekly Idol’, aired on February 7.
On the song ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, B.I stated, “I was inspired by the last 10 minutes of the film ‘La La Land’”. He continued, “The main protagonist smiles at his past lover in the end, and I felt ‘that’s enough’”. The members also performed a sharp group dance of ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, which was full of emotions.
iKON also accepted requests and questions from the fans through a corner called ‘Idol Call-Center Call Call Call’. At the fans’ requests, the members sang ‘Perfect’, a song that wasn’t released in Korea, with BOBBY’s guitar performance as an accompaniment. After the emotional performance was over, Jung Hyung Don stated, “We need a single for this. YANG HYUN SUK, you have to release this” in awe.
One request made everyone burst into laughter except iKON’s member JAY. A fan requested JAY, who’s original from Jeju Island, to measure his height using tangerines. The MCs started measuring JAY’s height with the tangerines, and he turned out to be ’27 tangerines’ tall.
When a fan made an impression of YANG HYUN SUK and requested JU-NE to use a nunchaku, the members praised the fan’s outstanding humor. JU-NE then revealed his hidden nunchaku skills. SONG’s cooking skills were revealed as well. He made cheese-rolled omelets for the MCs while stating, “I started cooking because I wanted to try out something new other than delivery food”.
B.I revealed his ‘aegyo’ for the first time ever, as a return for the love he received from the fans. When B.I’s legendary ‘Baby Shark aegyo’ which “he wouldn’t perform even if the president asked him to”, not only the members but also staff members from the agency took out their phone cameras.
At his dynamic moves and diligent ‘aegyo’ based on the lyrics, the whole studio was filled with laughter. Member JAY followed up with another ‘aegyo’ but led to an unexpected provocative mood. MC Defconn advised, “You should change the color of the room”.
iKON also challenged a ‘dance at 2x speed’ by a fan’s request. They were confident while acknowledging that they’ve been practicing the fast dance since they were trainees. The song they selected was their new song, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’. At iKON’s serious and perfect group dance, the MCs cheered while stating, “It’s clean”.
