[TV리포트=김진아 기자] CHOI HYUN SUK from YG burst into tears under pressure.
On JTBC’s ‘MIXNINE’ aired on December 24, the formation battle between male teams took place. CHOI HYUN SUK chose to perform TAEYANG’s ‘RINGA LINGA’ for the battle.
However, unlike CHOI HYUN SUK’s expectations, his vocals on the practice stage with his teammates was reprimanded. He stated, “I was very anxious. As a trainee from YG participating in a program by YG and performing a song arranged by producers from YG, I feel like I should prove that ‘I’m the future of YG’”, explaining that he was under a lot of pressure.
Furthermore, he was also reprimanded for the dance parts in the interim evaluation room. CHOI HYUN SUK who led the team practice was told, “What are you going to do if you drop out from a program by YG. Aren’t you going to practice”. Under pressure, CHOI HYUN SUK burst into tears and the teammates felt apologetic at the scene.
However, the ‘RINGA LINGA’ team eventually made a fantastic performance after trial and error, receiving praises from the judges.
