On his Instagram account, SEUNGRI posted a video with the caption “Great Job YE DAM. I see Passion. Game over. Release the music. I want a YE DAM version of this song. I hear people with SEUNG and BANG on their names will be successful next year, let’s see what happens”.
The video contained BANG YE DAM singing in the latest episode of Mnet’s variety program, ‘Stray Kids’. BANG YE DAM sang Shawn Mendes’ ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back’.
SEUNGRI highly praised BANG YE DAM’s vocal skills, hoping for his version of ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back’ to be officially released.
Meanwhile, BANG YE DAM became YG’s trainee after winning 2nd place at SBS ‘K-Pop Star Season 2’ back in 2012. YG Entertainment revealed that BANG YE DAM is preparing for his debut next year as a member of a new boy-group.
